NIOA COMPLETES SITE ACCEPTANCE TESTING OF THE LAND 40 PHASE 2 LVS2 SIMULATION TRAINING SYSTEM
NIOA is pleased to announce the successful completion of Site Acceptance Testing of the LVS2 Next Generation Fire Control Simulation Training System. The LVS2 Simulation Training System provides an advanced, virtual reality training solution that is compact, easily transportable and deployable, providing low cost, but highly effective, training for Defence. The Site Acceptance Testing confirmed the system, jointly developed by NIOA, General Dynamics and Saab Australia, successfully met all key objectives and Defence requirements.
Under the LAND 40 Phase 2 project, NIOA is delivering the MK47 40mm Automatic Lightweight Grenade Launcher, fitted with Lightweight Video Sight (LVS2) sighting system. The advanced LVS2 provides a new level of capability for light weapon sighting systems with integrated colour video and thermal imaging.
